MSHA’s proposed silica rule has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and is now under review. This means MSHA has completed writing the proposed rule and OMB will now begin its review before the rule can be published in the Federal Register. We hope to see the proposed rule around April which is consistent with the last regulatory agenda.
