VDOT’s Cost Estimation Office is pleased to announce VDOT’s first Cost Estimation Summit, April 25 and 26, 2023.
Objective: The objective of this summit is to bring together transportation estimating professionals for two days of valuable training and networking, focused on VDOT-funded project cost estimates. Participants will be able to earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs) through VDOT University.
Description: During this two-day event, participants will be able to learn leading practices and approaches for project cost estimating. This is a unique opportunity to learn and connect with other estimators from Consultants, VDOT and Localities, who are responsible for preparing and reviewing project cost estimates. Hear from the authors of the estimating tools you use in your daily estimating work. During this summit, a diverse and broad range of estimating topics related to VDOT project cost estimating will be presented by a variety of estimating professionals:
Target Audience: This summit is targeted toward the intermediate to advanced estimating practitioner who is directly involved in preparing and reviewing project cost estimates. This summit will be most informative for the consultant staff, locality staff and VDOT staff.
Registration: Registration will be opened in mid-February. Another email will be sent once registration is open. Space will be limited, so early registration is encouraged to secure your spot.
