A Legend in the Asphalt and Road Building Industry Retires

A legend in the asphalt and road building industry is retiring from Lee Hy Paving. Claude Daniel is a lifetime veteran of Virginia’s Asphalt Paving Industry. He began his career with VDOT (Virginia Department of Transportation) materials, then his first tenure at Lee Hy from 1962-1968, followed by the formation of Blakemore Construction. Upon ending his partnership with Blakemore, a short time was spent with Mega Contractors before joining Lee Hy Paving where he spent three plus decades. Claude has always been the ultimate professional in every sense, a true gentleman who will be impossible to replace.
