Virginia DEQ has extended the public comment on General VPDES Permit for Discharge of Stormwater from Construction Activities. The proposed changes introduce a new turbidity threshold as well as measurement requirements on discharge from dewatering activities. VTCA has provided feedback to DEQ but very little industry feedback has been received. If you work on or around construction sites these changes will impact you and your comments are encouraged. VTCA members are encouraged to read the proposed changes which can be found online.
