VDOT’s Design Technologies Support Group has issued an announcement regarding the renewal of design software licensing for the upcoming fiscal year. These renewals would apply to current licenses that expire June 3-7, 2024. More information is provided in VDOT’s announcement but renewing firms are encouraged to complete the LD-893 form and the Software Request form attached to the LD-893 and return them to: DesignTechnologies@vdot.virginia.gov.
The VDOT announcement also introduces a new licensing program that will begin for the 2025-2026 term starting July 1, 2025. Through this new program, VDOT will only provide necessary software and licensing to DBE/SWAM registered consulting firms, contractors and utility companies that have active VDOT projects.
