A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. has announced new Vice President promotions. These talented professionals lead and direct the operation of key business sectors within the firm and will represent the Mid-Atlantic region. In other news, a familiar face has joined AMT as a Senior Construction Services Manager.

Last fall at the Virginia Association of Science Teacher's (VAST) virtual conference, VTCA’s Aggregate Producers raffled off a mineral display case to a teacher for their school. The mineral display case was won by a science teacher at Shawsville Middle School in Shawsville, VA.

On April 21, VTCA attended the annual Virginia Tech Mining & Mineral Engineering Department Awards Banquet held at the Inn at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

 

VTCA was recognized for the 2022 VTCA scholarships awarded to three mining engineering students. Representatives from several VTCA members were also in attendance including, Luck Stone, Martin Marietta, Vulcan and Paschal & Associates.
