BRANCH IS EXCITED TO INVITE YOU TO THE 3RD ANNUAL GIRL EVENT!
 
This FREE event allows girls ages 5-18 to learn and experience real-life construction, engineering and STEM concepts in a fun, safe and judgment-free zone.
 
On September 24-27 NSSGA is conducting the 2024 Legislative and Policy Forum (LPF) in Washington DC. VTCA has participated in this event for the past several years. Through the LPF, VTCA, and our members, we have met with no less than 7 Virginia representatives and senators per year.
Captaining Pennsylvania State University’s women’s swimming and diving team, Erica Carter learned valuable lessons from the “grueling, grinding sport” that have benefited her career at Kimley-Horn.
M.J. O’Brien, Jr., President and CEO, has announced that Michael D. Greer, previously Vice President of Operations for the Salem Stone Corporation Group, assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer as of July 1, 2024. M.J. O’Brien, Jr. will retain certain duties for an unspecified future time to assist in a seamless transition.

As you may be aware, MSHA has put in place their new Respirable Crystalline Silica Rule. The Rule went into effect on June 17, and Operators will have 24 months to comply.  
 
The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) is happy to offer the Noise & Dust Workshop once again.
The Center for AggReGaTe recently received comments from NSF and unfortunately, the Center was declined for funding this round. This is a competitive application process, and it is rare for a Center to be funded on the first submission.
