We are thrilled to announce that the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance is moving to a new office location! Effective February 24, 2025, we will be excited to welcome you to our new space. 
 
As we enter the first full week of the 2025 VA Legislative Session, which was delayed three days due to a Richmond City water outage, procedures are moving smoothly and quickly.  There are just two more full weeks until Crossover – so each legislative body must address bills they are considering within that timeline.

Fairfax County Public School’s Career and Technical Education department is looking for volunteers to help with a touch a truck event for their elementary summer enrichment program!
With the Construction Division’s move to manage the procurement of Construction Engineering and Inspection contracts, they are also instituting a regular advertising schedule to help respondents anticipate upcoming opportunities. 
The Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity and Virginia Small Business Financing Authority, in partnership with the Consulate of El Salvador, and the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be conducting an event titled An Introduction to Small Business Programs to inform attendees about services offered by SBSD and loan programs available through the VSBFA on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
RCPS Works is an annual job fair sponsored by Roanoke City Public Schools to connect students with employers for summer jobs as well as longer-term employment opportunities.
