WHAT ARE YOU CELEBRATING THIS SPRING?
This April, we’ve all been busy celebrating Easter, Ramadan, Spring Break and more special holidays. And Wnet has been celebrating Career Month, Volunteer Month and Diversity Month. As a Board Member, volunteer and first-time grandmother of a new baby girl, I’ve reflected on how this month not only represents new birth but also growth and the opportunity to look forward – toward warmer days, career growth, better equality and opportunities to help mentor women and girls.
With Mother’s Day upon us, I want to celebrate all women – and the diversity of motherhood and womanhood – so we remember that women are enough all on their own. Women are enough. We are enough. You are enough.
