The first Kenosee WRLA golf tournament was organized in 1995 by two board members, Ron Paul and Greg McNamara of Beaver Lumber. Don Horvath from D & D Lumbermart made the teams and was the official score keeper. The winning foursome that year was Gino Allegro - Owens Corning, Mike Baudais - Owens Corning, Doug Erickson - North American Lumber and Brian Minish - Northern Specialties. The tournament has kept it’s momentum with Don Horvath taking the organizational reigns from Ron Paul after his retirement.
Once you've had a taste of this late summer tournament it will become an annual pilgrimage! If you don’t want to drive after the tourney book your stay at the Kenosee Inn for a quiet night in the park. Contact Don Horvath for golf registration and golf sponsorship.
