The Leadership Development Course will test and stretch your soft skills to a new level of awareness and proficiency in these important areas: Remembering Names, Listening, Addressing Groups, Leadership Techniques, Increasing Meeting Efficiency and Buy-In, Making Small Talk, Increasing Confidence.
Twenty candidates will be chosen by the Foundation. All applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Demonstrates a notable passion for the profession and would like to seek additional leadership skills.
- Has the desire and attitude to be a leader in their company.
- Would be considered a positive and influential ambassador of our AGC chapter.
- Is a high-potential employee who speaks for you, runs meetings and manages important relationships.
The Leadership Development Course will meet for five sessions in 2017 from 8 am to noon:
Friday, January 27, Thursday, February 16, Thursday, March 9, Friday, April 7, Friday, May 19
Investment - $1,150 per person
Builders Association members may nominate their 20-50-something managers for this program and the BETF will then select 20 individuals to participate in the Course. Fliers including the nomination form and more information on the Leadership Development Course were recently mailed to the main contact of each member company.
