Embedded products are ideal for a number of applications including membership cards, loyalty cards, insurance cards, refrigerator magnets, save-the-date reminders, employee identification cards, parking passes, and more. The company’s synthetic substrate line has now been expanded to include a new cost-effective synthetic product called Mohawk Performance Polyester, which rounds out a comprehensive synthetic portfolio for dry toner presses. This product will be available in 5, 8, 10, and 14 mil calipers in a variety of cut-sheet sizes. Tearproof and waterproof, Performance Polyester features excellent durability and is perfect for manuals, tags, book covers, and more. Full inventory of the new embedded card and synthetic substrates will be available when the products are launched in the fourth quarter of 2014.
