Ametek Surface Vision is looking for a high performing, dynamic technical Corporate Accounts sales leader to achieve ambitious organic revenue growth for the SmartView and SmartAdvisor brands in the USA Paper manufacturing and converting markets.  The position will be responsible for transforming our Corporate Accounts and National Sales team, customer facing processes, consultative selling process and applications engineering management strategy to enable product solutions growth leveraging unique technologies.  The individual must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced environment, effectively multi-tasking as a national corporate accounts sales leader, as well as supporting and participate on the regional business leadership team responsible for developing and executing a business growth strategy.

The Team: Ametek Surface Vision
This position is a member of the Ametek Surface Vision team, which engineers and commissions sophisticated surface inspection and web monitoring systems to the global marketplace.  These systems are used to inspect, detect, classify and monitor processes for quality irregularities real time at critical steps in high speed continuous manufacturing environments. The markets we serve are the global metals, paper, glass, plastics and non-woven industries.
 
Essential Functions:
  • >5 years experience with Vision Technologies in an Industrial Environment
  • >10 years’ experience within the Paper Industry
  • >10 years’ experience with Capital Equipment Sales
  • Must have demonstrated performance in customer satisfaction, process optimization and results target selling
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Extensive experience in some of the following: machine vision, surface inspection, web inspection, web monitoring, real-time vision, lighting and optics, line scan and matrix array cameras, quality control system, distributive control system, factory automation
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good computer application skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • Strong customer focus, attention to detail, fast acting, excellent communicator.
