TAPPI Industry Career Center: Melodea Ltd. Seeks a Sales Manager (North America)

Melodea, an Israeli Bio-tech company producing sustainable barrier solutions for the packaging industry, is looking for a North America Sales Manager experienced in the paper packaging industry who will be responsible for developing new strategic business in the Americas.

Melodea is looking for a person with proven track record and deep understanding of the paper packaging business. The person needs to be highly motivated, independent and success driven.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Be Melodea ambassador in North America
  • Manage all North American sales
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Pitch Melodea comfortably, present the company in conferences and exhibitions
  • Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of the company's industrial coatings products
  • Drive sales to meet company’s goals
  • Maintain consistent relationship with customers
  • Cultivate the team by using and supporting staff to meet current customers' needs
  • Coordinate technical information assistance to customers with the Israeli team
  • Use tools to increase accuracy and efficiency in customer ordering and inventories
  • Focus on customer file organization and communication using CRM tools
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Currently work from home, expectation to move to an office when required
  • Frequent travel

Education/ Experience/ Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Dealership Management experience
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in coatings or related packaging sales
  • Proven record in meeting sales goals and creating revenue stream
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet weekly sales goals
  • Excellent verbal communication skills as well as computer literacy
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
  • Arrival to Israel at least quarterly basis
