The Conference Planning Committee is holding the kick-off meeting for SprayFoam 2024 on Monday, May 15, 11:30am-12:30pm ET. All SPFA Members are welcome to join the Committee and help plan and implement all aspects of the Convention and Expo. In April 2023, the SPFA Board granted honorary lifetime membership status to eight fully retired members of the Alliance. This was done as our expression of gratitude for their longstanding contributions to the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance that have helped us achieve our mission of growing the spray foam insulation and roofing industry. The U.S. Department of Labor today announced that its Occupational Safety and Health Administration has begun a National Emphasis Program to prevent falls, the leading cause of fatal workplace injuries and the violation the agency cites most frequently in construction industry inspections.

During the past year, the SPFA Roofing Committee has made significant changes to TechDoc SPFA-104 “Spray Polyurethane Foam Systems for New and Remedial Roofing”. Included in this update are 25 color SPF roofing details, now available for download as individual AutoCAD .DXF files. These files enable contractors and design professionals to easily integrate SPF roofing into their project drawings. SPFA members can access this updated TechDoc for free on the member-only webpage. Non-members can purchase and download it from the SPFA Online Store.
