On February 13, 2020, SPFA will host the Industry Excellence Awards Luncheon as part of The Sprayfoam Show 2020 Convention & Expo in Pasadena, California. There will be awards in several categories for projects that demonstrate excellence in our industry. A panel of industry experts will adjudicate the selection process through a blind judging process. Judges will not know to whom each of the entries belong, therefore the judging will be solely based on the merit of the project according to awards guidelines. To be eligible for an award, projects must follow the following criteria: Nominations can be made by any SPFA member.
Contractor nominees must be SPFA members to be entered into the contest. The project must have been completed between December 1, 2018 and November 30, 2019. The first two days of the Sprayfoam Show, Feb. 11-14, will host a Sprayfoam Street Festival! It will have everything you’d expect from food trucks to carnival games, and tents providing smaller-group discussions on important SPF topics led by knowledgeable professionals. There will also be competitions of SPF skill and knowledge, demonstrations, an OSHA-backed fall-protection training session and more!

All PCP Certifications expire on December 31, 2019. The renewal notices were sent out on or about November 1, 2019. Please complete the information requested and send back to us by December 31 to keep your credentials current. For those attending Sprayfoam 2020 in Pasadena, be sure to wear the ribbon we’ll provide which says “Certified” so others know that you’ve completed the pathway to professionalism. Making the most of your time at Sprayfoam 2020 is our job. Please figure out what you need to accomplish and schedule it in. If you have taken exams, but are still not certified, please look for an email from us detailing what you need to do to either complete that certification or move to the next level. SPFA PCP Staff will be available during Sprayfoam 2020 to answer any questions and help you navigate the certification process. During the pre-convention days of Tuesday-Wednesday, February 11 -12, 2020, the following courses will be held during the Spray Foam Convention. Written Exams are available daily from Tuesday-Friday, February 11-14.
